New Windshield

The new AeroFlow windshield that I ordered arrived yesterday and I installed it this evening. I needed a quieter and taller windshield and based upon the info that I’ve read on biker forums like K-Bikes, this shield should fit the bill. I will check it out this weekend when I go out for an extended test ride. Those interested can check out their site here Aeroflow Screens.

Joe said...: I haven’t ridden with it yet. The installation required the usage of “Dual-Lok (TM)” fasteners, an industrial strength interlocking fastening system made by 3M. It requires 72 hours to cure. I’ll test ride it this weekend.; Wednesday, July 25, 2007 8:43:00 PM

My Great Adventure

I can just hear the age wisecracks from my so-called friends and family now – "Are you sure you want to do this?". To that I answer, "I may have an AARP card but I still feel young at heart!" As a little background, here are a few facts about me - I obtained my first bike almost twenty-five years ago and have enjoyed riding ever since. I’ve been in the Information Technology profession for more than thirty-five years and love all things technology and gadget-related. My kids are now grown and I have a great seven year-old grandson and a new granddaughter on the way. Photography and motorcycling have been two of my hobbies for years. This trip couldn't be a better way to combine both of these passions. I hope you enjoy reading about my adventure!
